Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim in the UAE seeks an Operations Manager for Emirati Talent within MAF Retail to lead daily E‑commerce fulfilment, driving efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will oversee order execution, coordinate with fulfilment centers and delivery partners, and monitor key performance indicators to support rapid, accurate online shopping experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Mgmt, or related field is required.
5–8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, E-Commerce fulfilment, and last-mile operations; retail experience is a plus.
Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
Proficiency with warehouse/distribution systems, process automation, SAP, Salesforce, MS Office, and Advanced Excel; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end E-Commerce fulfilment operations, coordinating with fulfilment centers, last-mile delivery teams, and third-party partners.
Monitor KPIs for picking, fulfilment, handover, delivery timelines, productivity and service levels; drive continuous improvement.
Ensure optimal fulfilment center operations through inventory management, stock availability, hygiene, quality controls, and policy compliance.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, IT, E-Merchandising, Head Office Services, Stores, Customer Service) to resolve challenges and improve processes.
Analyze customer experience metrics, including NPS, identify improvement areas, and implement initiatives to enhance the online journey.
Lead and develop the team through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management; ensure attendance and disciplinary standards.
Drive cost optimization by monitoring expenses, improving cost per delivery, budgeting, and implementing corrective actions.
Support development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and controls aligned with business objectives.
