Job summary

The Luxury Collection in Dubai is seeking a wine steward to manage wine service and cellar operations. You will open, serve, and suggest wines to pair with menu items, maintain the wine list, and train staff to deliver exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities include attending wine tastings, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with local alcohol laws while delivering memorable guest experiences in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles, answering guest questions on origin, vintage and style.
• Update and maintain wine list and MICROS system.
• Design and implement wine promotions and incentive programs.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of wine cellar, equipment, and glassware.
• Train and educate server and bartender staff.
• Follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly.
