Job summary

RIKAS Hospitality Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced sommelier to elevate our wine program in a fine-dining environment. You will engage guests with expert recommendations and deliver confident, polished wine service.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of international wines and food pairings, UAE experience is a plus, and WSET certification is highly preferred. You will train staff and help drive wine sales while maintaining service excellence. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as sommelier in high-end/fine-dining restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of international wines, regions and pairings.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert wine recommendations based on guest preferences and menu.
• Guide guests through wine list and pairings.
• Deliver professional wine service and presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of wine list, regions, vintages.
• Assist in wine menu, inventory and cellar organization.
• Ensure proper storage and serving temperatures.
• Train restaurant staff on wine service.
• Build guest relationships and contribute to wine sales.
