Job summary

Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa in Dubai seeks an experienced wine steward to issue, open and serve wine and champagne, and to answer guests' questions about origin, vintage, and style. You will update the wine list and manage the MICROS system while pairing wines with menu items.

You will attend tastings, develop vendor relationships, train servers and bartenders, and maintain cellar inventory and storage areas.

Qualifications

• Wine knowledge and service experience.
• Ability to answer guest questions about origin, vintage, and style.
• Ability to maintain wine list and inventory.
• Experience in beverage program development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles to guests.
• Answer guest questions regarding origin, vintage, and style of wines.
