Job summary

ITButler in Dubai is seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to join its Network Operations team. You will monitor and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure across network, server, virtualization, and cloud environments, leveraging Elastic Stack to analyze logs, detect issues, and coordinate resolution.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, incident management experience, and effective communication with customers and vendors to ensure service reliability in a fast-paced SLA-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Network Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in a NOC monitoring and operational support environment.
• Hands-on with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats).
• Strong TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, WAN, SNMP, and NetFlow knowledge.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server monitoring.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience with Azure/OCI or multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of SLA-driven support operations and incident management.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Elastic, ITIL are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks, servers, cloud, virtualization, and applications 24x7.
• Detect, classify, investigate, and escalate incidents per SLA.
• Analyze logs and metrics using Elastic Stack and monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and impact.
• Coordinate incident response with customers, vendors, and remote teams.
• Maintain monitoring platforms and onboard new systems.
• Generate incident summaries and SLA compliance reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive actions.
• Assist deployment and tuning of monitoring solutions.
