Job summary

KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) in Dubai is seeking a dynamic Service Engineer to plan, manage and oversee the contracted scope of work for the safe, high-quality installation of KONE solutions in line with schedule and budget.

The successful candidate will coordinate field service operations, serve as the first contact for technical or operational issues, and control maintenance costs and revenues from callouts and service repairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly.
• Experience in elevator service operations or service sales is preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and well-organized with a customer service focus.
• Open to applicants from any location; GCC experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for planning, managing and controlling field service operations.
• First point of contact for technical or operational issues raised by customers.
• Responsible for costs of maintenance field operations and revenues from callout/service repair sales.
• Delivery of service according to contract requirements and KONE quality standards.
• Manage third-party inspection visits and follow-up actions.
• Plan maintenance scheduling, optimized routing and site audits.
• Investigate accidents and ensure proper documentation.
• Develop the assigned technicians and ensure their motivation and competence.
