Job summary

KONE Dubai is seeking a CSE Engineer - Solution to translate customer needs into product-specific requirements and coordinate all engineering work until handover to maintenance. This role covers elevators, escalators and Autowalks, including high-rise projects and non-standard solutions tendering.

You will support Front Line CSE field operations and the sales team in delivery, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and local regulations while delivering cost- and lead-time efficient

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering.
• Minimum five years' experience with AutoCAD.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in English; French as an asset.
• Knowledge of BIM will be an asset.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with global colleagues across time zones and languages.
• Understanding of elevator/escalator/Advanced People Flow solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to identify the optimal KONE product for non-standard requirements.
• Ensure offers are competitive and reflect accurate product platforms.
• Involve Supply Line installation and project management for accurate costings.
• Create detailed product plans and specifications for corporate and local materials.
• Perform energy calculations and simple traffic analyses for projects.
• Coordinate product lead times with Supply Line and local sourcing.
• Verify installability and cost/effort impact of installation in non-standard cases.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and KONE engineering policy.
• Provide content for pre-booking reviews and support holistic product planning.
