Job summary

KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is seeking Installers with a service mindset to join our team across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. You will contribute to safe, high-quality elevator and escalator installations on customer sites.

You should have an ITI or vocational certificate in Electrical/Mechanical engineering and at least 3 years of high-rise installation experience. Fluency in English and ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Familiar with installation methods and can interpret arrangement drawings.
• Knowledge of quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Minimum of 3 years in high-rise elevator or escalator installation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation environment and on-site communication with customers.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, timely installation per KONE methods.
• Report installation progress and address shortages or damages by ordering parts.
• Maintain installation tools and secure delivered equipment.
• Coordinate with builders to prevent work interruptions and follow updates to manuals.
• Ensure a safe working environment within the installation area.

As KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) embarks on an exciting growth phase with a direct presence in seven regions, we are looking for Installers with a service-oriented mindset to join our team. These roles will be based across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, supporting our expansion plans.

Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

• Oversee the installation environment during activities and manage on-site communication with customers regarding day-to-day installation and logistical matters.

Project Management

• Ensure the safe, high-quality, and timely installation of equipment in accordance with KONE installation methods.
• Report installation progress to the supervisor and address any shortages or damage by ordering replacement parts promptly.
• Maintain the installation tools in good condition and secure the delivered equipment through proper storage and handling.
• Communicate with builders to prevent work interruptions and stay updated with field letter changes and the A.M. manual.
• Ensure a safe working environment within the installation area, including storage spaces.

Delivery

• Handle the receipt, inspection, and storage of materials.
• Execute installations following predetermined methods and schedules.
• Submit reports on timekeeping, quality feedback, and warranty claims for materials.
• Provide feedback to the supply line for continuous product improvement.

Requirements

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient in installation methods and able to interpret arrangement drawings.
• Knowledge of quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in High Rise Elevator or Escalator Installation.
