Job summary

GMG Gulf in Dubai is seeking an Ecommerce Fulfillment Operations Manager to oversee the entire ecommerce order fulfillment cycle in a high-volume warehouse. This role requires ensuring compliance with SLAs and quality standards while leading a large operations team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ecommerce fulfillment or warehouse operations in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of WMS-driven operations, SLAs, and quality controls.
• Proven people management capability across large operational teams.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete ecommerce fulfillment cycle including order allocation, picking, quality check, packing, and handover to last-mile delivery.
• Ensure all orders are fulfilled within defined SLAs and operational cut-off timelines.
• Monitor daily order volumes, backlogs, and dispatch performance using WMS and dashboards.
• Enforce strict adherence to picking accuracy, quality standards, and packing guidelines.
• Own fulfillment rate and order rejection rate; investigate spikes, perform root cause analysis, and report findings.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce rejections, delays, and errors.
• Coordinate with last-mile delivery partners to ensure timely and accurate shipment handover.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and housekeeping requirements.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates and team leaders.
• Plan shifts and manpower allocation based on demand, priorities, and capacity.
• Conduct daily briefings, performance reviews, and productivity tracking.
• Train team members on ecommerce processes, quality standards, and system usage.
• Identify skill gaps and drive continuous training and development initiatives.
