Job summary

AECOM in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented Document Controller to manage project documentation on ACONEX. You will ensure version control, accurate filing, and timely access for stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in construction or engineering design environments, with proven ACONEX experience, and a degree preferred. On-site work with UAE standards and regulatory compliance will be part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within construction supervision or engineering design consultancy.
• Degree preferred but not essential; relevant certifications in document control are an advantage.
• Proven experience with Aconex on large-scale building or commercial projects is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control all project documents within the ACONEX platform ensuring proper version control and document tracking.
• Receive, review and organize incoming project documentation from various stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of all documents including transmittals drawings specifications and correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with document control procedures and construction industry standards.
• Coordinate document distribution to appropriate project team members and stakeholders.
• Monitor document status and track revisions to maintain current and accurate project records.
• Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
• Generate document control reports and provide documentation status updates as requested.
• Communicate with project teams to clarify document requirements and resolve documentation issues.
• Support project managers and engineers by providing timely access to required documentation.
• Ensure all documentation meets quality standards and regulatory requirements applicable to UAE construction projects.
