Job summary

A Dubai-based contracting company is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join its team. The role focuses on managing project documentation, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence for UAE projects, with emphasis on high-rise residential or commercial buildings.

The candidate should have 3–5 years UAE experience, a relevant degree, proficiency in Aconex/EDMS/MS Office, and strong organizational skills. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Document Controller in contracting.
• Experience with high-rise residential or commercial building projects.
• Strong knowledge of document control procedures and filing systems.
• Proficient in Aconex, EDMS, MS Office and Excel.
• Hands-on experience managing drawings, technical documents, RFIs, submittals and correspondence.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation per established controls.
• Register, track, distribute, and archive project documents.
• Handle drawings, technical documents, RFIs, submittals, and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate document filing and revision-control systems.
• Manage document submissions and transmittals through Aconex / EDMS.
• Ensure latest document revisions are available to project teams.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Track document status, approvals, revisions, and outstanding submissions.
• Prepare document registers and reports as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of project records.
