Job summary

Hellmann in Dubai is seeking a Customs Declarant to manage accurate customs declarations in Dubai using the Mirsal-2 system, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

You will handle procedures, respond to queries, arrange documentation and payments via DP World, and maintain reports to support efficient operations.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of Dubai customs and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Processing accurate custom declarations in Dubai customs - Mirsal-2 system in compliance with customs regulations & requirements.
• Have extensive knowledge of Dubai customs system procedures & prevailing regulations & respond to any internal or customer queries.
• Ensure all activities within the scope of customs are handled in 100% compliance withcustom regulations.
• Arrange documentation & payments via DP world system.
• Ensure timely payment request for top up of Custom Duty & DP World accounts in order to ensure there is no disruption to operations.
• Maintaining reports and data as deemed necessary for the operations.
• Analyze & continuously improve the customs internal working procedure to achieve efficiency & productivity.
• Escalate issues if any to the Customs manager for timely resolution.
• Drive & push CIP development.
• Handling any other tasks as assigned by the customs manager.
