Job summary

Carl ZEISS Vision Spectacles Trading LLC in Dubai is seeking an Accountant (AP Specialist) to manage accounts payable and support closing processes. You will ensure invoices and expenses are processed accurately and on time, maintain ERP records, and participate in budgeting, VAT, and audit preparation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, professional qualification (ACCA/CPA), and strong experience with month-end closing, VAT, and ERP systems (SAP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations and journal entries.
• VAT/tax documentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, travel claims and expense reports accurately and timely.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and review cost-center reports and variance analysis.
• Assist with VAT returns and corporate tax documentation; support external audits.
