About Wynn Al Marjan Island:
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
About The Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Door Attendant – Front Services to join the resort’s Front Services (Bell & Door) team.
Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Own the arrival and farewell experience: Deliver a polished sense of arrival through confident posture, eye contact, a warm smile, and gracious language that makes every guest feel expected, recognized, and welcomed.
- Anticipate guest needs: Observe guest cues such as luggage volume, family needs, mobility assistance, weather conditions, confusion, or urgency, and respond proactively before the guest has to ask.
- Provide vehicle and door assistance: Open doors for guests, assist with entry and exit from vehicles, issue tickets to arriving vehicles, and support safe, orderly traffic movement at the resort entrance.
- Coordinate with Bell and Valet: Communicate clearly with bell attendants and valet staff to ensure smooth arrivals, luggage assistance, vehicle staging, and seamless handoff between teams.
- Maintain entrance control: Monitor the entrance area continuously to ensure cleanliness, safety, order, clear access, and a luxury presentation that reflects resort standards.
- Support guest information needs: Provide accurate directions and information about the resort, local area, transportation options, and direct guests to the appropriate department or team member when needed.
- Manage peak flow: Assist during high-volume arrivals and departures by keeping the entrance calm, controlled, safe, and efficient while maintaining a warm guest-facing presence.
- Support VIP and high-profile arrivals: Provide personalized attention, discretion, and accurate coordination with Bell, Valet, Front Desk, Security, and leadership teams when required.
- Uphold Forbes Five-Star standards: Maintain a professional appearance, polished grooming, luxury service etiquette, and consistent Forbes Five-Star behaviors in every guest interaction.
- Assist with luggage and vehicle movement: Help load or unload luggage and safely move, stage, or reposition guest vehicles at the entrance in coordination with the valet team.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of ultra-luxury Door Attendant experience in a large resort environment with a high-volume, busy driveway operation.
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, front services, valet, bell, concierge, or another guest-facing role required.
- Excellent spoken English with clear, polished, guest-facing communication; additional languages are an advantage, especially those commonly used by international luxury resort guests.
- Warm, confident, and approachable presence with impeccable grooming, upright posture, refined body language, and polished luxury service etiquette.
- Strong understanding of luxury guest service standards, with Forbes Travel Guide experience.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and organized during peak arrivals, departures, traffic congestion, and guest-service pressure points.
- Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and assist with vehicle movement and luggage handling.
- Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, early mornings, and high-demand operational periods.
- Valid, clean UAE driver’s license with safe vehicle-handling skills and no major traffic violations.
- Must be able to perform valet duties, including safely driving, moving, staging, and parking guest vehicles in accordance with resort standards and traffic procedures.
