Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a UAE National Document Controller for a project site in Dubai. You will manage and control project documents, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include QA procedures implementation, drawing control, and maintaining document registers. The role requires strong organization, proficiency in document control software, and knowledge of UAE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field.
• Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in document control software Aconex / Prolog or other document control softwares
• Strong knowledge of filing and archiving systems
• Excellent data entry and record-keeping skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
• Knowledge of UAE construction industry standards and regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure correct document and drawing management is implemented
• Play active role in implementation of QA procedures and ISO certification
• Archive project directories and manage CDs
• Arrange printing of documents and deliverables
• Maintain registers of drawings, issued to/received from, and approved by
• Maintain current drawing sets and file superseded drawings
• Maintain NCR, RFI and submittal registers
• Record all incoming & outgoing RFIs & submittals and monitor response times
• Maintain Expedition / Aconex / Prolog or other document control softwares
• Assist Administrative assistant as required
• Handle FTP sites for uploading and downloading documents
• Order and approve stamps per Egis standards
• Coordinate with other offices for tender and construction packages
• Assist site teams to establish correct document control procedures
