Job summary

Egis is seeking a UAE National Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Dubai project site, focusing on robust document control for drawings, transmittals, and records to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key duties include coordinating with Project Managers, implementing QA procedures and ISO certification, maintaining drawing registers, and using Aconex/Prolog or other document control systems. A bachelor's degree and proficiency in MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field required.
• Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in document control software Aconex / Prolog or similar.
• Strong knowledge of filing and archiving systems.
• Excellent data entry and record-keeping skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of UAE construction industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure correct document and drawing management.
• Implement QA procedures and ISO certification.
• Archive project directories and manage CDs.
• Arrange printing of documents and deliverables.
• Log/Record all incoming and outgoing transmittals, submittals, reports and other documents.
• Maintain registers of drawings and NCRs, RFIs, and submittals.
• Maintain document control software (Aconex/Prolog or similar).
• Assist Administrative assistant as required.
• Handle FTP sites for uploading/downloading documents.
• Prepare outgoing registers for drawings/documents/calculation/submission.
