Job summary

Document Controller – Infrastructure & Bridges role at AECOM in Abu Dhabi. You will manage project documentation, maintain registers, control revisions, distribute documents, and ensure compliance with project procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Document Control, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience as a Document Controller on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, or similar document management systems.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documents, drawings, RFIs, method statements, submittals, inspection requests, technical submissions, and correspondence.
• Maintain document registers and track incoming and outgoing documents.
• Control document revisions and ensure latest approved documents are available to the project team.
• Coordinate with Contractor, Client, Engineers and project team regarding document submissions and responses.
• Monitor overdue documents and follow up with relevant parties.
• Maintain records of drawings, technical submissions, approvals, transmittals and correspondence.
• Ensure project documentation is properly filed and easily accessible.
