Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a dynamic and results-driven (Sr.) Director, Solutions to lead a high-performing team that supports multiple sales divisions in driving business growth in EMEA. This leadership role aligns solution strategies with revenue goals and ensures seamless execution across cross-functional teams.

The role requires extensive experience in server/storage architectures, a strong product marketing background, and exceptional communication skills to engage with customers and executives

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on experience in system/server architecture.
• Experience in product marketing and/or product management lifecycle.
• Proficient in Linux (Ubuntu, SUSE, Red Hat, CentOS).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with virtualization and storage products such as VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, CEPH.

Responsibilities

• Develop product roadmap and lead the development and integration of storage/server and JBOD systems.
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering and business development to provide complete server solutions to customers.
• Create technical product requirements for cloud/data center infrastructure based on customer needs and trends.
• Engage with customers at various levels including senior executives and product marketing to convey capabilities and gather feedback.
• Escalate critical issues to management and vendors when needed.
• Provide product trainings to internal teams, sales, and customers.
• Offer 3rd level customer support to internal and external stakeholders.
