Job summary

Standard Chartered in Dubai seeks an experienced Sales and Relationship Manager for Priority Private client relationships across the region. The role focuses on onboarding new clients, expanding the portfolio, and delivering superior service through strong communication and negotiation skills.

You will develop strategic revenue plans, manage targets, and ensure compliance with KYC/AML standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams and risk partners to uphold the bank's standards.

Qualifications

• Experienced Sales and Relationship Manager with background in Banking & Investment Products.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Networking ability to manage interdepartmental deliverables.
• Leadership capability and team motivation.
• Good understanding of UAE business environment, preferably connections with Priority Private community.

Responsibilities

• Creation of strategic plans for revenue generation and business development within the Private Banking space.
• Generate new business to achieve defined targets including customers, volumes and revenue.
• Induction of new NTB customers from Branches & Direct Sales.
• Create sales call plans to acquire large prospective customers.
• Maintain Sales MIS (Calls, Prospects, Attritions, Business done).
• Meet customer expectations and handle complaints with professional service.
• Lead through example and collaborate with risk & control partners.
• Ensure KYC/AML updates and zero error documentation.
• Detect suspicious transactions and ensure compliance with AML procedures.
• Obtain SCA license within 6 months and complete CPD.
