Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Engineering Director to lead strategy, operations, and delivery across multiple projects. You will guide design, testing, and commissioning while aligning with safety and quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration with clients and internal teams.

You will oversee engineering plans, drive continuous improvement, and mentor senior engineers to ensure on‑time, within-scope project outcomes in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Extensive experience in engineering management or senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of design, project management, and operations.
• Experience leading teams, budgets, and timelines.
• Familiarity with safety, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineering strategies, standards and plans.
• Lead engineering projects from planning through completion.
• Manage teams, resources, budgets and priorities.
• Oversee design, testing, installation and commissioning.
• Review designs, calculations, and technical documents.
• Monitor schedules, costs, quality and performance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve technical and operational issues.
• Lead, coach and develop engineering staff.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
