Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Construction Manager/Director to lead construction operations, project delivery, site management, and overall project performance in Abu Dhabi.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of construction methods, safety and quality standards, and the ability to coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and authorities to deliver complex developments.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction management, project management or a senior construction role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project controls, contracts, safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, coordination, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage large-scale, multidisciplinary projects with contractors and stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as PE, PMP, CCM or equivalent are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction planning, site operations, project delivery and overall construction management.
• Oversee contractors, subcontractors, consultants, site teams and project stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, quality, cost, schedule, safety and resource utilization.
• Ensure activities comply with designs, specifications and regulatory safety standards.
• Identify and resolve site issues, risks, delays and technical challenges.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, authorities and internal teams.
• Review construction programmes, method statements, submissions and project reports.
• Drive quality, efficiency and successful project completion.
