Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a seasoned Construction Portfolio Director to lead the operations of a multi-project portfolio in Dubai. You will set governance, priorities and performance standards across projects, ensuring alignment with commercial, programme, quality, safety and contractual objectives.

You will direct Project Directors and leadership teams, resolve cross-project constraints, and drive value engineering, planning, controls and risk management to achieve execution excellence and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience overseeing multiple large-scale construction delivery.
• 8+ years in progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs delivery of construction projects to meet milestones, budget, quality and contract obligations.
• Provides strategic direction to Project Directors and project leadership teams.
• Oversees planning, scheduling, resource optimisation and recovery strategies.
• Ensures quality, health, safety and environmental programs across all projects.
• Establishes governance frameworks and monitors risks with reporting to the General Manager - Contracting.
• Manages department budget and workforce planning.
