Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Engineering Consultant to lead major infrastructure and multidisciplinary projects from design through construction. You will direct design, BIM, and project management teams, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and authorities' standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 15+ years’ experience in engineering consultancy, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Civil or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering consultancy.
• Experience leading major infrastructure or multidisciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of design management, project management, BIM, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Understanding Abu Dhabi Municipality, RTA, DEWA and other authority requirements.
• Strong leadership, client management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management/design software.
• UAE consultancy experience preferred.
• Arabic language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage major engineering and infrastructure consultancy projects from design through construction.
• Direct multidisciplinary engineering, design, BIM, and project management teams.
• Manage client relationships and act as senior contact for key stakeholders.
• Oversee design development, coordination, programs, deliverables, and quality.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Abu Dhabi authorities.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, UAE regulations, and authority standards.
• Oversee authority submissions, NOCs, approvals, and technical deliverables.
• Identify and resolve technical, design, coordination, and project risks.
• Review key project deliverables, reports, drawings, specifications, and submissions.
• Support business development and growth of CHSS's consultancy services.
