Job summary

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking an ambitious professional to lead digital channel development within the Retail Banking Group in Abu Dhabi. The role centers on delivering cross-channel projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and measurable customer impact.

You will manage a team, collaborate with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement across internet, mobile, and other digital platforms, while upholding high standards of service and delivery within UAE banking norms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years delivering projects with alternate delivery channels in banking.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Prince II / PMI / Agile certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of web channels and mobile technologies.
• Strong planning, analytical and time-management skills.
• Written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Digital Channel Development and Implementation across internet, mobile, tablet, SMS and wearable platforms.
• Digital Channel Usage and Reporting including onboarding, usage, migration and KPI analysis.
• Quality Certification, Audit and Compliance with ISO standards for internet/mobile banking and product development.
• People Management: lead and develop the project team in line with ADCB policies.
• Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures: implement and ensure adherence across the department.
• Continuous Improvement: motivate the team to drive change initiatives and projects.
• Customer Service: uphold ADCB Service Standards in all interactions.

About the business area

The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari'ah compliant banking. We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include

• Digital Channel Development and Implementation - Assess areas of development and innovation to existing and new Digital Channels (internet, mobile, tablet, SMS, wearable, digital TV) in order to broaden the overall service offering and enhance Digital Channel services in line with overall objectives of the business group.
• Digital Channel Usage and Reporting - Own and execute Digital channel on-boarding, usage and migration related programmes and ensure service failures are resolved immediately to avoid customer dissonance and any threat to the Bank's reputation. Continuously oversee and analyze Digital Channel usage and revenue KPIs to ensure overall business objectives are met
• Quality Certification, Audit and Compliance - Ensure that all services meet regulatory requirements such as ISO 9001 certification for internet Banking/mobile Banking and product development. Administer the retention of such certifications in order to remain compliant and minimize any risk of non-compliance to the Bank. Ensure timely and accurate development of risk and compliance reporting as required in line with the agreed standards in order to communicate activity/incidence reporting and assist in departmental decision making
• People Management - Manage self and team in line with ADCB's people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance. Organize and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
• Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures - Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders
• Continuous Improvement - Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Bank's standards
• Customer Service - Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank's required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

• At least 6 years of experience in delivering projects with experience in alternate delivery channels within a Bank
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant specialization
• Project Management Prince II or PMI or Agile (or equivalent) Certification
• Knowledge of web channels and mobile technologies
• Planning, analytical and time management skills
• Written and spoken English.
