In this role, your key responsibilities include

• Strategic Initiatives Portfolio Management- Develop and manage the strategic initiatives portfolio across Retail Banking and Business Banking in alignment with business priorities, transformation objectives and executive direction. Ensure initiatives are clearly prioritized, sequenced and positioned to deliver measurable business outcomes across customer experience, business performance, operational efficiency and frontline effectiveness
• Initiative Portfolio Governance- Establish governance frameworks, prioritization criteria, performance tracking and executive reporting for strategic initiatives to support clear decision making and delivery discipline. Monitor portfolio progress, risks, issues and dependencies to ensure timely escalation, transparent reporting and achievement of agreed outcomes
• Transformation Management- Lead cross-functional transformation programmes impacting multiple business units by defining delivery plans, managing dependencies and aligning implementation with strategic priorities. Drive collaboration across business, operations, digital, technology, risk and compliance stakeholders to support sustainable delivery and business adoption
• Stakeholder Management- Partner with senior executives and governance forums to shape priorities, elevate key matters and enable decisions required to progress strategic initiatives. Provide structured insights, recommendations and delivery updates to support executive alignment, sponsorship and timely resolution of strategic issues
• Customer Experience and Business Improvement- Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, frontline productivity and operational efficiency across Retail Banking and Business Banking in order to enhance customer experience and business performance
• Change Management and Adoption- Manage change strategies, communication and adoption planning for strategic initiatives to support sustainable implementation, capability building and frontline readiness
• People Management- Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance. Organize and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
• Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures- Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders
• Continuous Improvement- Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Bank’s standards
• Customer Service- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

• At least 7 years of experience in banking, financial services, transformation, strategic initiatives, business excellence, customer experience, design thinking, programme management or consulting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, Economics or a relevant discipline

• Competitive Salary : The indicative pay range for this role is AED 39000– AED 50000 per month. Additionally, all employees are eligible to participate in one of our rewarding variable pay plans.
