Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• MBA or Master’s degree would be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulatory framework and implications.
• Experience with document structuring and storyboarding.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills across geographies.

About the business area

ITMAM, a wholly owned subsidiary, provides banking operational and processing services to all Group sectors, including lending, wealth management, and ATM services. Integrated into the Group Business Services (GBS) organizational structure, ITMAM operates under its own Board of Directors, comprising Group executive staff members. Its structure includes a General Manager overseeing five key operational service divisions: Consumer Operations, Corporate & Investment Banking Operations, Customer Contact Services, Treasury and Syndication Operations, and Shared Services and Operations Management. Notably, \"Tamooha,\" the Group's award-winning operations center initiative, is staffed exclusively by UAE national women.

We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include

• Identify opportunities in order to enhance organisational performance taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment, defining the scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals and secure buy in through collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.


• Develop full-scale project plans, project management activities, documentations, timelines and milestones using appropriate tools to ensure that the project plans are achievable within the agree timelines.


• Direct and manage projects from beginning to end, to ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed timelines and budgets.


• Deploy operational Excellence Lean Six Sigma initiative across ADCB as required to ensure successful implementation.


• Apply project management methodology and tools to drive large scale change projects in order to achieve the desired result/change.


• Train and coach employees in the Operational Excellency (OE) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology and meet all ISO requirements in order to obtain and maintain certification, drive the OE culture throughout the organization.


• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentations, and presentations in line with the required standards in order to meet the needs of stakeholders.


• Define, manage and monitor project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure improved solutions are sustained through the implementation of KPIs.


• Conduct post-project reviews including project performance and improvements as compared to pre-project metrics and market benchmarks in order to demonstrate the impact and provide the required information to stakeholders.


• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and continually manage and communicate project expectations with team members and other stakeholders in order to keep them informed and manage their expectations on the project progress and results.


• Create and lead the project team effectively towards fulfilling the various tasks and milestones within a project to ensure it is delivered as per the agreed plan.


• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans to ensure the project remains in line with business requirements.


• Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work to ensure they are able to deliver as required.


• Ensure all International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements are met in order to obtain certification in line with the requirements of the Bank.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

• At least 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the financial services industry


• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university


• Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s degree would be an advantage


• Strong finance knowledge and capabilities in Banking regulatory framework and implications


• Document structuring and story boarding capabilities


• Excellent organizational / project management skills working with multiple groups across geographies


• Strong understanding of distribution, products, sales management, customer solutions, and Banking risks


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong leadership capability, excellent interpersonal skills, multicultural awareness and sensitivity
