Job summary

Bab Al Shams Desert Resort in Dubai seeks a Villas Supervisor to manage daily villa operations, supervise housekeeping, maintenance and guest services, and coordinate staff schedules.

You will ensure villas are spotless, ready for occupancy, conduct inspections, handle check-ins, upsell to boost revenue, and collaborate across departments to deliver personalized service while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a 5-star hotel property in concierge.
• Efficient computer skills and Opera Cloud knowledge.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the villas.
• Ensure all villas are clean, well-maintained, and ready for guest occupancy.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Assist colleagues with expediting problem payments (e.g., problems processing credit card).
• Follow up with guest regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues.
• Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning villas, and handling the Villas Occupation and communicate the setup of each reservation.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of Villa for check-in and document pertinent information.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and ensure their proper usage and storage.
• Handle guest requests and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist in generating more revenue by upselling.
• Supervises the housekeeping, maintenance and other colleagues assigned to work in villas.
• Monitor colleagues’ performance and provide feedback and coaching.
• Ensure colleagues adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, resolving issues effectively.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any repairs or upkeep needed.
• Oversee the housekeeping team to ensure villas are spotless and well-stocked.
• Implement and monitor cleaning schedules and checklists.
• Prepare reports on villa occupancy, guest feedback, and staff performance.
