Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards and check temperatures.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; monitor food quality.
• Set up and break down work station; maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
• Follow safety policies; report maintenance needs and accidents; complete safety training.
• Stand or walk for extended periods; handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Communicate clearly and work as part of a team to meet goals.
