Job summary

GBM in Dubai seeks a Sales Specialist to drive server and data center solutions across our compute portfolio. You will work with resellers and system integrators, tailoring offerings using vendor tools and managing stock to ensure timely delivery.

You will collaborate with product, tech support and logistics, act as a compute SME, and pursue upsell opportunities while keeping abreast of AI infrastructure trends to advise clients effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, configurations and specs.
• Experience with server configuration tools to customize solutions.
• Familiarity with stock management and inventory control.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to meet sales targets in a reseller/SI channel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to promote computing servers and data center products to resellers and SI partners.
• Utilise vendor configuration tools to tailor solutions to client needs and specs.
• Collaborate with Product Management, technical support and logistics for delivery and implementation.
• Serve as an SME on compute tech, advising resellers on selection, configuration and deployment.
• Monitor server stock levels and coordinate with vendors and purchasing to optimize inventory.
• Build and maintain relationships with reseller/SI partners, pursuing upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Track deals from LPO/PO to invoicing, maintaining pipeline and monthly reports.
• Stay informed on industry trends including AI infrastructure to provide informed guidance.
