Job summary

GBM is seeking a highly motivated Channel Manager to join our Compute & Data Center distribution team in the UAE. You will drive sales of servers and data center solutions across GBM's core compute vendor portfolio, leveraging vendor configuration tools and managing stock and backlog.

The ideal candidate has deep server knowledge, strong sales skills, and experience selling multi-vendor compute solutions through a reseller/SI channel, with a track record of building relationships and achieving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of server technology and configurations.
• Experience with server configuration tools to tailor solutions.
• Familiarity with stock management and inventory control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to promote computing servers and data center products to resellers and SI partners.
• Utilize configuration tools to customize solutions based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Management, technical support, and logistics to ensure delivery.
• Act as a subject matter expert on compute technology for partner guidance.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with vendors to optimize inventory.
• Build relationships with resellers and SIs to identify upsell opportunities.
• Track deals from LPO/PO through invoicing with accurate pipeline reporting.
• Stay informed on industry trends including AI infrastructure to advise clients.
