Job summary

Jumeirah Al Qasr’s Pierchic is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our luxury seaside team. You will prepare high-quality dishes, uphold hygiene standards, and support the Executive Chef in maintaining exceptional service and food quality in a world-class resort.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of international hospitality experience, a culinary arts degree, and completed kitchen apprenticeship. Knowledge of an additional language is a plus, and you will work in a prestigious, culturally

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in international hospitality.
• College Degree in Culinary Arts or similar from an accredited Culinary School.
• Completed full kitchen apprentice and chefs training courses.
• Experience of working in an international capacity and understanding cultural differences.
• Knowledge of an additional language is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality food according to menu guidelines and instructions from the Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine.
• Follow hygienic food handling practices and cleaning/waste procedures.
• Assist Exec Chef in setting and maintaining service and food standards.
• Collaborate on developing new seasonal and creative menu ideas using premium ingredients.
• Manage staff training under the guidance of the Exec Chef to maintain quality.
• Motivate staff and contribute to process improvement and productivity.
