Responsibilities

• Supervise attendance, punctuality, and overtime; ensure accurate duty time recording and product storage.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and F&B Manager to develop sales strategies and events.
• Implement and monitor SOPs; enforce adherence and continuous improvements.

About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Sous Chef to join Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

• To assist the Executive Chef in planning and coordinating the smooth operation of the kitchen Department daily and oversees the monitoring of costs, food handling, storage, preparation, and production for outlets daily.
• Supervise daily attendance, control punctuality, absenteeism, and overtime, ensuring accurate recording of duty times, monitor proper storage of products, portion control, and product quality maintenance.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and F&B Manager to develop sales strategies and special events.
• Implement and monitor SOPs, ensuring professional execution and enforce adherence to SOP formats among kitchen management colleagues, adjusting for improvements under Executive Chef guidance.
• Supervise kitchen team members, conduct briefings, provide feedback, and establish training plans to develop competencies.
