- Review stock ageing regularly and decide the treatment of non-moving stock (returned to the Central Store, reallocated to other locations, kept or identified as scrap), and ensure scrap is disposed of in line with company procedure.
- Ensure stores records are complete, supported by signed documents and retained as required, and that tools and equipment issued to sites are tracked and followed up for return.
- Liaise with Procurement, Project Managers, QA/QC, Cost Control and Finance on stores matters, and report to the CFO on counts, stock ageing, stock turnover and non-compliance.
- Establish minimum/maximum stock levels, follow up items nearing reorder level with Procurement, and keep stores clean, orderly and secure, with climate-suitable storage, first-in, first-out rotation, and non-conforming deliveries segregated and followed up for replacement or credit.
