Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an experienced Storekeeper supervisor to oversee Central Store and site stores, ensuring procedures are followed and records are accurate. You will manage stock transfers, approvals, and cash purchases when needed within approved budgets.

You will lead store personnel, coordinate with HSSE, procurement, QA/QC, and Finance, and drive stock counts, ageing reviews, and inventory accuracy across multiple sites in the GCC.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in materials management, supply chain, logistics, commerce or engineering.
• SCM certification preferred (e.g., CPIM, CSCP or CIPS).
• 7–10 years of experience in stores or materials management, at least 4 in a supervisory role, GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Storekeepers at Central Store and site stores; ensure procedures followed and records kept.
• Approve stock requisitions from stock via transfers, purchases, or cash in urgent cases within budgets.
• Investigate variances, shrinkage and damage; report root cause and drive corrective action.
• Coordinate with HSSE to store hazardous materials per SDS and Civil Defense requirements; ensure insurance conditions.
• Plan monthly stock counts and ensure timely month-end reporting; conduct surprise counts and report diffs.
• Maintain accurate records; track issued tools/equipment and ensure proper labelling and secure storage.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Project Managers, QA/QC, Cost Control and Finance; report to CFO on counts and non-compliance.
