Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government is seeking a communications and PR professional to oversee editorial input for published news and materials, coordinate digital and traditional campaigns, and manage media relations across local and international outlets. The role involves planning marketing actions, evaluating campaigns, and producing bilingual content for the school website.

1. Oversee, edit and coordinate with internal and external parties for input to receive final approvals for MBRSG published news, and other printed promotional materials (for example internal: EP office, core departments, external: Government entities)
2. Ensure integration of digital and social media alongside any conventional press and media campaigns.
3. Plan, develop and deliver Marketing action plans within the agreed timelines forMBRSG products, services and initiatives.
4. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns periodically.
5. Manage relationships with Media/PR agency and provide continuous feedback of performance and raise major concerns.
6. Work in cooperation with the Media/PR Agency to ensure appropriate PR coverage is gained in selected local and international publications
7. Play critical role in compiling information for publications such as press releases, and internal newsletters.
8. Effective communication and coordination with internal departments regarding public relations and media requests to ensure that the work is in compliance with project requirements.
9. Promote positive public image among MBRSG’s various audiences and collaborate with others in the organization to achieve brand consistency, coordination of messages, and the highest standards for external communications- including electronic and print communications (ex: Newspaper Ads, Radio Ads, etc).
10. Develop and implement the necessary plans to promote the school’s services, programs, and initiatives in the various media platforms.
11. Plan, prepare and coordinate corporate communication activities such as press conferences and media invites.
12. Plan and coordinate TV,Radio,andprint media interviews for MBRSG spokesperson.
13. Prepare MBRSG news content for publication on the school website in both Arabic and English.
14. Leads students’ annual graduation project from ideation to completion in terms of planning, execution, preparing, and oversee the expenses in liaising with the Academic Affairs Department.
15. Plan and develop media materials and the necessary MBRSG publications to promote the activities and services of the School.
16. Buildand manage an effective network of relationships with media organizations.
17. Analyses received comments and complaints from the various sources on communication tools about the services, programs, andnewsofthe School and share them with relevant units.
18. Prepare periodic reports and statistics on media coverage reports and maintain archive of media coverage reports
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Communication from an accredited university
