Job summary

Dubai Municipality is seeking a communications and marketing professional to manage conferences and MoUs, develop external communication plans, and support the Corporate Marketing Strategy. You will coordinate with internal units and external entities, monitor media coverage, and prepare regular reports.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Management Sciences, Media, Marketing, or Public Relations, with at least four years of experience in related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in a relevant field (Management Sciences, Media, Marketing, Public Relations).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a related role.
• Strong communication and external stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage conferences and exhibitions within and outside the UAE; draft MoUs and agreements with partners.
• Develop external communication plans targeting stakeholders and ensure implementation.
• Contribute to Corporate Marketing Strategy; perform SWOT analyses and supporting studies.
• Conduct opinion surveys on services and activities to measure satisfaction and drive improvements.
• Monitor media coverage and coordinate with media channels for announcements and publications.
• Prepare periodic reports on marketing activities, challenges, and process improvements.
• Adhere to information security policies and participate in related training.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the competent authority.

• Manage conferences and exhibitions organized by the Department both within and outside the UAE, prepare and draft agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between the Department and its internal and external partners, and develop external communication plans targeting all stakeholders relevant to the Department’s activities, while ensuring their effective and efficient implementation. Prepare community happiness measurement studies, analyze the results, and provide appropriate recommendations accordingly.
• Participate in developing the Corporate Marketing Strategy, conducting SWOT analyses and other relevant analytical studies, and proposing initiatives to enhance the corporate reputation in coordination with the concerned organizational units and external entities.
• Participate in conducting opinion surveys on the services and activities provided by Dubai Municipality to various segments of the community, in order to measure their satisfaction with the processes and services provided and support continuous improvement and development.
• Monitor news and media coverage and social media platforms, and coordinate with media and social media channels regarding the Department’s announcements and publications.
• Prepare periodic reports on corporate marketing activities, challenges and difficulties encountered, and any proposals aimed at improving and developing work processes.
• Comply with information security policies and protect data and information in accordance with the approved Data Classification Policy of Dubai Municipality; report any violations or security breaches through the channels designated by the Department; and participate in information security training programs.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to the nature and scope of the position, as assigned by the competent authority.
