Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive management of benign and malignant breast diseases, including clinical assessment, diagnostics, and surgical planning.
- Perform advanced oncoplastic breast surgery such as therapeutic mammoplasty, volume displacement and replacement techniques, implant‑based reconstruction, and autologous reconstruction.
- Lead and actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with oncology, radiology, pathology, and plastic surgery colleagues.
- Deliver consultant‑level care across outpatient clinics, perioperative management, and long‑term patient follow‑up.
- Support clinical governance activities including audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, pathway optimisation, and adherence to international breast care standards.
- Ensure patient‑centred, empathetic, and culturally sensitive communication aligned with UAE healthcare expectations.
- Teach and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Contribute to clinical research, innovation, and ongoing development and expansion of breast services.
Ideal Profile
- Board‑certified Consultant Breast, Oncoplastic, or General Surgeon with fellowship training in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery.
- Minimum 7-10 years post‑board certification experience in breast oncology and reconstructive surgery.
- Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure in Dubai.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced oncoplastic techniques, including immediate reconstruction and symmetrisation procedures.
- Background in accredited breast units with strong multidisciplinary team involvement.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse patient population.
