Job summary

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a patient-focused Call Centre Scheduler to coordinate appointment bookings and patient information in the iConnect system. You will answer inquiries, guide patients to the right physicians, and ensure timely confirmations and updates.

The role requires strong English and Arabic communication, basic computer skills, and familiarity with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology or experience in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of call centre procedures is preferable.
• Fluent communication in English and Arabic (verbal and written).
• Ability to work efficiently with digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone calls politely and cordially.
• Guides patients to the appropriate physician for their questions.
• Prioritises tasks to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Updates patient information in the iConnect system as needed.
• Schedules and books appointments in iConnect per clinic guidelines.
• Confirms appointments via SMS or phone follow-up.
• Transfers calls to Call Centre Nurses when needed and avoids giving medical advice.
• Maintains charts and relevant data in clinic records and informs patients of waiting times.
