Job summary

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a Telecare Scheduling Clerk for the Medical Imaging Department to manage patient appointments, provide preparation guidance, and ensure efficient use of imaging equipment. You will coordinate with radiologists, technologists and clinics, and verify patient data in the hospital system.

The ideal candidate has high school diploma, strong English and Arabic communication, call center experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, preferably radiology.
• Call center or telephone handling experience preferred.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (verbal and written).
• Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Deliver professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Records patient demographics in hospital system.
• Schedules appointments per department protocols.
• Provides patients with preparation instructions for radiology procedures.
• Confirms appointments via SMS, email, or phone.
• Responds to inquiries with quality patient service.
• Escalates complex inquiries to technologists, radiologists, or supervisors when appropriate.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Acts as liaison between patients, technologists, and radiologists.
• Redirects calls to appropriate departments.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and security policies.
