Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in the United Arab Emirates (Sharjah) seeks an Engineering Manager (Civil/Structural) to lead civil/structural activities for solar PV projects, review and develop BIM 3D models, and coordinate across Electrical, Instrumentation and MEP teams. This role covers pre-bid to commissioning and O&M, with site support as needed.

The incumbent will head a team of design engineers and drafters, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality engineering documentation and vendor

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory.
• 10–12 years of design experience in Solar PV or power distribution projects.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating with multi-discipline stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of engineering drawings and documents.
• Review design drawings, calculations, and obtain client approvals.
• Coordinate inter-departmental checks with Electrical, Instrumentation, MEP and other teams.
• Provide support to site execution and pre-award/vendor evaluation.
• Prepare module mounting structure design, GA drawings, civil/structural drawings for Solar Plant.
