Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) in Dubai seeks a Civil Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and delivery of civil and structural works from foundations to finishing.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 4–8 years of building construction experience, knowledge of civil/structural processes, and proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project. Strong technical and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural construction processes and standards.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project is preferred.
• Strong technical, coordination, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling, and coordination of civil and structural works.
• Review structural and civil drawings and coordinate technical queries with consultants.
• Monitor site progress against project schedules and highlight risks or delays.
• Coordinate with procurement and contracts teams on materials, subcontractors, and BOQs.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to ensure proper execution of works.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, technical submittals, method statements, and project documentation.
• Support cost control, variations, and change management.
• Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
