Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented Civil Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and technical delivery of civil construction projects. Collaborate with PM, design and site teams to meet time, budget and quality targets.

You will review drawings, monitor progress, control costs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site and in meetings with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in civil project engineering or coordination.
• Solid understanding of PM principles and construction processes.
• Experience with scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project) preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for civil works.
• Review and coordinate drawings, specifications, and design changes with consultants.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedule and flag delays.
• Coordinate with procurement and contracts on materials, subcontractors, and BOQs.
• Prepare technical and progress reports and project documentation.
• Liaise with site engineers to ensure design intent on site.
• Support cost control, variation orders, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.

The role involves working closely with project management, design, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for civil works
• Review and coordinate technical drawings, specifications, and design changes with consultants
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and flag potential delays
• Coordinate with procurement and contracts teams on materials, subcontractors, and BOQs
• Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and project documentation

• Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and regulatory requirements

Requirements & Qualifications
