Job description

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using software like Primavera P6 ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual obligations
  • Conduct critical path analysis to identify potential delays and bottlenecks proactively proposing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
  • Prepare and present progress reports including earned value analysis to stakeholders highlighting key performance indicators and project status
  • Collaborate with the project team to gather and analyze data ensuring accuracy and completeness of schedule updates and progress claims
  • Manage and control project budgets by monitoring and reporting on costs identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
  • Review and assess contractor schedules for feasibility and compliance with project requirements providing feedback and recommendations
  • Perform risk management identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans to minimize their impact on project timelines and costs
  • Prepare and submit change order requests analyzing their impact on the schedule and budget and negotiating with stakeholders
  • Assist in the preparation of bid submissions by developing preliminary schedules and cost estimates for new projects
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and new software tools to improve planning efficiency and project outcomes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, preferably in civil infrastructure projects.
