Job summary

Drake & Scull International is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to supervise day-to-day site execution and coordinate with foremen, subcontractors and surveyors to deliver civil works safely and in accordance with drawings.

You will monitor progress, manage labour on fast-track projects, ensure QA/QC compliance, and prepare site records and handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of civil site engineering experience in contracting projects.
• Experience in building construction, preferably high-rise, hospitality, residential or commercial projects.
• Good knowledge of drawings, specifications, method statements, inspections and site coordination.
• Ability to manage foremen, subcontractors and labour teams on daily work fronts.
• Good communication, reporting, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to fast-track projects and consultant inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil works including structural, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishing or assigned site activities.
• Coordinate manpower, foremen, subcontractors, materials and equipment to achieve daily and weekly targets.
• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, method statements, specifications and consultant requirements.
• Monitor progress, productivity, quality readiness, material availability and site constraints.
• Coordinate with surveyors, QA/QC, HSE, MEP, architectural and document control teams for smooth execution.
• Prepare daily reports, site records, inspection support documents and progress updates.
• Support inspections, snag clearance, as-built inputs and handover documentation.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety compliance and immediate escalation of site risks.
