Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Inspector (Civil) to join our Abu Dhabi region team. You will supervise civil works, inspect water network installations, verify compliance with drawings and specs, and coordinate with Resident Engineers.

The role requires a BE/BSc in Civil/Mechanical and at least 2 years of site inspection experience with a UAE driving license. You will witness field tests, maintain logs, raise inspection requests, and ensure QA/QC and HSE adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with ministry certification.
• Proven ability to supervise site works per contract documents.
• Fluent English reading and writing required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise works with Resident/Assistant Resident Engineers ensuring contract quality and sequence.
• Perform day-to-day site inspections of Contractor works and coordinate with engineers.
• Inspect water network installation works: excavation, pipe laying, chambers, hydrants and backfilling.
• Verify works against drawings, specs, ITPs and standards for alignment and levels.
• Attend field and lab tests, including pressure testing, flushing and discharge sampling.
• Inspect delivered materials for damage and contract compliance.
• Monitor progress and report deviations to Assistant Resident Engineers.
• Maintain daily field logs, inspection records and site observations.
• Raise inspection requests and support non-conformance reports.
• Protect existing utilities during construction and ensure HSE compliance.
• Participate in HSEQ walkthroughs and safety interventions.
• Support snagging and final inspections on completion.
