Responsibilities

What You 'll Be Doing

Inspection Records and Reporting

• Maintain a detailed daily diary covering work activities, site issues, approved or rejected work, operating hours, labour, equipment, and other relevant information.


• Complete and sign daily records as directed by the Assistant Resident Engineer.


• Maintain clear documentation supporting inspection findings and contractor performance.


• Communicate identified issues promptly to the appropriate project supervision personnel.

Site and Stakeholder Coordination

The Civil Inspector will maintain regular coordination with contractors and other inspection disciplines to support effective site operations. The role also involves interaction with members of the public and stakeholders adjacent to work areas to help mitigate construction-related impacts. The position requires a professional and firm approach when dealing with contractors while maintaining effective working relationships across the site supervision team.
