Job summary

Parsons is hiring a Civil Inspector in Abu Dhabi to supervise road, infrastructure and stormwater construction. You will inspect works for compliance with drawings, specs, codes and procedures, and maintain daily site records.

Cooperate with the Resident Engineer, contractors, surveyors and inspectors to ensure quality and safety across the project. Required are a Civil Engineering degree and at least 5 years of field experience; strong reading of drawings and specifications and excellent

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil/Construction Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years in road, infrastructure supervision and stormwater projects.
• Ability to read shop drawings and construction specs.
• Proficient with documentation, quality control, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect works for compliance with approved plans and codes.
• Maintain continuous surveillance of civil and stormwater construction.
• Coordinate inspections with contractor site engineers and surveyors.
• Review shop drawings and method statements during inspections.
• Maintain detailed site records and day-to-day diaries.
