Key Responsibilities

Inspect road construction and maintenance activities, including pavement works, curbs, gutters, streets, sidewalks, and associated civil improvements.
Monitor infrastructure works related to drainage, utilities, traffic control systems, lighting, irrigation, planting, and landscaping.
Inspect installation activities for electrical equipment related to traffic signals, ramp metering systems, and street lighting.
Check roadway signage works, including removal, installation, temporary signs, permanent signs, and delineation.
Monitor building works, facility construction, site development, and related civil infrastructure activities.
Review site works against approved drawings, construction specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, civil drawings, construction details, and technical specifications during inspection activities.
Identify non-compliant work, construction defects, incomplete activities, and quality concerns requiring corrective action.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and supervision team members to clarify inspection comments and close site issues.
Observe construction methods and site processes to confirm that work is being performed safely and in line with approved procedures.
Support progress verification by checking completed works and reporting site activity status accurately.
Maintain daily inspection records, field notes, work observations, and quality-related documentation.
Take project photographs on a daily basis and file them properly for progress tracking, quality records, and project documentation.
Monitor contractor performance and highlight delays, repeated defects, safety concerns, or workmanship issues to the responsible engineer.
Support inspection of completed works and assist with snagging, de-snagging, and handover preparation when required.
Contribute to safe work practices by observing site safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions promptly.
Perform other civil inspection and construction supervision duties associated with the position as required.

Ideal Profile

Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects.
Practical experience in road works, utilities, drainage, civil infrastructure, and site development activities.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, and civil inspection requirements.
