• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements such as RTA.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of QA and QC processes in construction environments.
• Good coordination and communication skills on site.
• Detail-oriented with strong reporting and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents before site execution.
• Conduct site inspections for roads and infrastructure works to ensure compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance, manpower, and equipment utilization on site.
• Maintain detailed daily records of inspections, materials, and work progress.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure proper execution of construction activities.
• Implement site instructions issued by Resident Engineer.
• Perform site measurements and verify pipe alignments and levels.
• Monitor QA and QC activities and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and documentation.
• Identify non-conforming works and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Support inspections and handover processes.
• Participate in client inspections and coordinate project activities.
• Track project milestones and ensure proper documentation.

Role Summary

The Inspector - Civil Infrastructure is responsible for ensuring construction activities are executed accurately and in line with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The role supports project delivery by maintaining strict inspection procedures, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring compliance throughout all construction stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents before site execution
• Conduct site inspections for roads, utilities, and infrastructure works to ensure compliance
• Monitor contractor performance, manpower, and equipment utilization on site
