Job summary

Electra is seeking a senior procurement leader in Dubai to head, manage and develop the procurement function, aligning with strategy to be the obvious partner for local and international clients establishing events in the GCC.

You will drive procurement best practice, policy/SLA/KPI/PIMS development, sourcing, negotiation, supplier and contract risk management, and ensure alignment between customer needs and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement teams and building procurement capability.
• Proven track record in sourcing, negotiation and supplier management.
• Familiarity with governance standards (CIPS, EcoVadis, ISO) and KPI implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and coach the procurement team.
• Develop policies, SOPs and PIMS for procurement.
• Drive vendor selection, contract negotiations and risk management.
• Achieve annual procurement targets and savings.
• Align procurement activities with business needs and client requirements.
